1 What this agreement covers
By using this website, requesting a quote, or engaging Tafeel for any service, you're agreeing to the terms set out on this page.
Where we've signed a separate proposal, engagement letter or service agreement with you, that document takes priority if anything on this page conflicts with it. Think of these terms as the baseline that applies unless we've agreed something more specific in writing.
2 The services we provide
We act as a business services consultancy. We prepare, submit and follow up on applications to UAE government departments, free zone authorities, immigration and banks on your behalf, and we advise you on the options available.
It's worth being clear about what that isn't. We are not a law firm, an audit firm, a bank, or a government department. Our guidance is practical and commercial, and where a matter needs formal legal, tax or audit sign-off, we'll tell you and can point you to a qualified professional.
3 What we need from you
Applications succeed or stall largely on the quality of the information behind them. So when you work with us, you agree to:
- Give us accurate, complete and up-to-date information about yourself and your business.
- Provide genuine, unaltered documents — and let us know promptly if any of them change or expire.
- Respond to our requests for information within a reasonable time, since most delays we see come from waiting on a missing document.
- Use our services lawfully, and not for any purpose that breaches UAE law.
- Pay our invoices and any government fees when they fall due.
If information you give us turns out to be inaccurate or misleading and an application is rejected or delayed as a result, that unfortunately sits outside what we can be responsible for.
4 Fees and payments
There are two distinct kinds of cost in almost every engagement, and it helps to keep them separate in your mind:
- Government and third-party fees — amounts set by authorities, free zones, banks, typing centres or medical facilities. We collect these and pass them on. We don't set them and we can't discount them.
- Our service fees — what you pay Tafeel for the work, advice and follow-up we provide.
We'll quote both clearly before you commit. Government fees can be revised by the authorities at any time; if that happens mid-engagement, we'll let you know before anything further is paid. Work generally begins once the agreed payment has been received.
5 Timelines and approvals
This is the most important section on the page, so we'll be blunt: we cannot guarantee that any application will be approved, or that it will be approved within a particular timeframe.
Licences, visas, and bank accounts are granted at the sole discretion of the relevant authority or institution, based on their own criteria and checks. Any timeline we give you is an estimate drawn from experience with similar cases — not a promise, and not something we control.
What we do commit to is preparing your application properly, submitting it correctly, chasing it diligently, and keeping you informed at every stage.
6 Cancelling an engagement
You can ask us to stop work at any point by telling us in writing. What happens to money already paid is set out in our Return & Refund Policy.
We may also end an engagement — for example, if we're asked to do something unlawful, if requested information simply never arrives, or if invoices go unpaid. We won't do this lightly, and we'll always explain why.
7 Confidentiality
Anything you share with us about your business, plans or finances stays confidential. We disclose it only to the authorities, banks and providers needed to complete your work, or where the law requires it.
How we handle personal data specifically is set out in our Privacy Policy.
8 Using this website
The text, design, graphics and logos on this site belong to Tafeel or our licensors. You're welcome to read, share and print pages for your own use, but please don't republish our content as your own or use our branding without permission.
We work to keep the information here accurate and current, but rules in the UAE change often. Nothing on this website is formal advice for your specific situation — speak to us before acting on it.
9 Our liability
We take responsibility for doing our own work with reasonable skill and care. Where we've genuinely got something wrong, our liability is limited to the service fees you paid us for the work in question.
We aren't liable for outcomes decided by third parties — an authority refusing an application, a bank declining an account, or a change in government policy or fees — nor for indirect losses such as lost profits or business opportunities.
Nothing here limits any liability that cannot legally be limited.
10 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If something goes wrong, we'd much rather talk it through first — most issues are resolved with a phone call long before anyone needs to think about formal proceedings.
11 Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as our services and the surrounding regulations change. The version published here is the one that applies, and the date at the top shows when it was last updated. For ongoing engagements, we'll flag any change that materially affects you.
Questions about this policy?
If anything here is unclear, or you'd like to exercise any of the rights described above, please get in touch with the Tafeel team — we're happy to explain.
